ABOUT BEING A COMMITTEE MEMBER
- Committee membership lasts for 1 year ending at the 2013 annual general meeting.
- You don’t need any particular skills to be a committee member just membership to the Association and a passion for orthopaedic nursing!
- The committee usually meets on a Tuesday evening once a month. It is important to send your apologies to the President if you will be absent.
NOMINATING A COMMITTEE MEMBER
- Only Association members can nominate and be nominated.
- A member may nominate and vote for themselves.
- Nominations must be made in writing and received by the Secretary by 6 March 2012.
- Both the nominator and nominee must sign the nomination. The nominee signs to indicate their willingness to stand for election.
- You do not need to specify any particular office (eg; President, Secretary, Treasurer) on the nomination form however this will make the election process simpler.
- If you would like to join the committee without holding an office but you have been nominated for an office then simply leave that area of the nominee statement empty.
- Committee members will be voted at the annual general meeting on 13 March 2012.
